Calculating the day of the week, is very simple, once you know the Julian Day Number.
There are two routines available to calculate the day of the week.
dayofweek returns the day of the week for a given Julian Day Number as a number (from 1 to 7).
weekdayname returns the name of the day of the week for a given Julian Day Number as a number (from 1 to 7). This routine can return the name of the day in several user selectable languages.
