Statistical monitoring of the grid.org distributed computing programme

Grid.org (formerly United Devices) is a distributed computing company. It's most well-known project is the cancer project, which was conduced in co-operation with the University of Oxford.
Unfortunately, there is a... well flaw is too harsh a word... an imperfection in the grid.org programme. The grid.org programme, which I will refer to a 'the agent', only saves the processed data every once in a while, at so-called checkpoints. These checkpoints can be seconds apart, but also hours. In the early days, days between checkpoints were also reported. Of course, this depends on your CPU power at your disposal, but also on the so called work unit the grid.org agent is currently processing. This programme is for people who are curious about the inner workings of the beast, but also you who are control freaks who want to know everything that goes on in the black box that's the grid.org agent.

The UDStats is a windows programme that can run in the taskbar and monitors the time between checkpoints. It can also do some statistics on that data. In the Server/Client version, you can access this data over the network. You don't need to find out the URL or IP-number of the clients, the name mentioned in the "network neighborhood" is enough!

Important: I try to keep the CPU power of this programme as low as possible, however it cannot be avoided that the time between checkpoints is slightly increased by using this programme.
