TV commercials and movies

Just a short comment on this section, simply because I know next to nothing about the commercials and movie snips listed. It's just a number of official looking commercials posted on Youtube. Some are perfect little chansons, like the ones from 1973 and 1981. Where applicable I added the text so you can sing out loud while on the road ;-)

1961-1963?	A very short french commercial inspired by the Salon of 1961.
1964 Sheila 'Vous les copains'	Sheila performs 'Vous les copains' (a cover of Do-wah-diddy) for an enthousiastic crowd. Her Parisienne is well visible between 1'19" and 1'32" and from 1'54" until the end.
1965? El coche todo ventajas	A spanish commercial without much text. Note the R1125 bumpers and flat front indicator lights! The title would be something like 'The all window car'.
1966: En Afrique	Oui, en Afrique, la Renault 4 est vraiment à son aise 4 Roues independantes Suspension passe-partout Freinage de sécurité Rapidité Une voiture de ville Une voiture de brousse Un brec idéale Une voiture dont l'entretien est vraiment minime On voit qu'on peut tout faire en Afrique avec une Renault 4
1968? Partez avec votre R4	A mysterious clip, exhibiting a little serene background music but bereft of spoken word. It is most likely to be a compilation, starting with the clip listed on top of this list, but continues (at 32") with 1967 and/or 1968 imagery (2nd grille, 2nd dashboard, but 1st gearshift handle; later the first grille returns).
1969? El correcaminos	An Argentinian commercial entitled 'El correcaminos'. Despite the small amount of text near incomprehensible except for the title, which would translate into 'roadrunner'.
1971 Trafic	Of course, this list wouldn't be complete without a clip from Tati's Trafic.
1973: Elle peut aussi coucher dehors IMHO, one of the best songs, created by Michel Fugain. Thanks Tjitske for the transcription.	Fais un tour en Renault 4, demande-lui beaucoup va partout en Renault 4 elle ira jusqu'au bout son coffre est très grand et on y met tout dedans elle peut aussi coucher dehors du Sahara jusqu'au Pôle Nord. Elle tient la route, ça ça ça me fait aucun doute elle freine sans le moindre problème, c'est pour ça que je l'aime. Fais un tour en Renault 4, demande-lui beaucoup va partout en Renault 4 elle ira jusqu'au bout et sur tous les terrains elle ne te refusera jamais jamais jamais rien elle ne te refusera rien.
1975: Eux aussi la trouvent bien A slogan referring to the fact that the R4 was sold in 103 countries. Photos carrying this slogan were published on billboards .	Eux aussi la trouvent bien. Renault 4 dans 103 pays.
1979: El amigo fiel A colombian commercial named after the local nickname 'the faithful friend'. A comment on Youtube claims that Spain and Colombia were the only countries allowed by Renault to start their own exclusive publicity, thanks to this commercial. 1981 Elle supermarche bien This is a french word joke, meaning both 'she really runs well' and 'she's well suited to go shopping'. This slogan accompanied a billboard drawing in which the R4 was depicted as shopping cart. Very nice song, too, also attributed to Michel Fugain. The picture itself is said to be produced by the cineast William Klein. The movie features a picture of the famous bank robber John Dillinger.	Ouvre un grand livre d'image la Renault 4 t'invite au voyage prépare-toi à l'aventure ne perd pas confiance en ta voiture. Pars, pars encore plus loin, elle super supermarche bien. 1985: Su bellezza es su mecánica	The last slogan on the spanish market ('her beauty is her mechanics'). The commercial shows a Renault 4 as gladiator in a roman amphitheater, a bit Mad Max like. Note that the actor appears to be a TL rather than a GTL, but, then again, I seem to recall that the grey side protection boards were only introduced in Spain with the Clan.
1982: El jean sobre ruedas (1a) 1982: El jean sobre ruedas (1b) 1982: El jean sobre ruedas (2)	An argentian commercial split in two, entitled 'el jean sobre ruedas' ('jeans on wheels'). A spectacular piece of work, as it is a classic Western pursuit featuring cowboys and indians, not on horses but in R4s. The film crew also plays an important part by getting in the way. Some parts of the text are hard to understand so I could use some spanish speaking help. Por las rutas, por las calles Por las cumbres, por las valles ?
