ColorNamePicker
Adds a Name to your Color
What it is...
ColorNamePicker is a plug-in for the colorpicker. The colorpicker can be accessed from a number of applications and is used for selecting colors. ColorNamePicker can be used to select a color based on RGB values, a Hex value or a colorname. It will analyze the selected color and return the name of the closest matching color. The matching color is also shown and its corresponding Hex value is given. This plug-in should be especially helpful for colorblind people.
Distribution
ColorNamePicker is freeware. You can copy and distribute it in unmodified form. Donations are appreciated!
This version works on Mac OS X version 10.4 (Tiger), 10.5 (Leopard) and 10.6 (Snow Leopard). Mac OS X version 10.3 and lower have not been tested.
