New drummer! - february 4th 2007 We are proud to announce that we have found a new drummer. René Kleis will replace previous drummer Alain. Rehearsels start again soon and gigs will follow. Check out the bandmember section for more info about René.

Alain leaves Putrescent - november 25th 2006 Unfortunately our drummer Alain decided to leave Putrescent due to personal reasons. We thank him for his contribution to band, and wish him the best for the future. We are currently negotiating with a possible new drummer, more info soon.

RIP Maarten Luysterburg aka Ploegbaas - october 28th 2006 Our sincerest condolences to his family, friends and bands (Brutus and Sick Human Art).

Demo update - august 21th 2006 Through medical circumstances the recording of the demo has been delayed. More info follows. Other news is guitarplayer Paul has switched guitars. He now uses a Jackson King V instead of BC Rich.

Demo - june 11th 2006 Big news! In about two weeks we'll enter the studio to record our, yet untitled, demo album. This will be released somewhere in july/august. More info soon!

Abomination fest - june 2th 2006 Hell yeah !! We'll be playing on next years Abomination fest that will take place in the P60, Amstelveen.

New stuff - may 30th 2006 Our Kade gig was awesome, thanks for all the support! We've made a live album witch can be found here. There are two song available for download. Also check out the new pics and video in the media section. Our upcoming demo will be released soon. We are still looking for someone to make the artwork, if you know anyone who is interested please let us know (info@putrescent.nl). Other good news is that we just recieved our Putrescent t-shirts! Girly's will arrive next week. To order just send a email.

Update - april 26th 2006 Expect our merchandise somewhere half may ! You can order through email or just come to one of our shows. Currently we are busy with recording a couple of songs. As soon as we are done they will be available on our website.
